Welcome from Chair of Trustees

Effective governance at West Park School is supported by the following:

  • Trust Members who are guardians of the constitution.
  • Board of Trustees who are accountable for educational standards and financial conduct across the Trust.
  • Finance, Resources and General Purposes Committee who maintain an oversight of finances, audit, staffing and health & safety.
  • Curriculum, Standards and Pupil Care Committee who maintain an oversight of curriculum, pupil standards, behaviour, attendance and pastoral care.

    • West Park School is governed by the Board of Trustees who are accountable to the DfE. They have overall responsibility and ultimate decision-making authority for all the work of the Trust. Financial governance at West Park School, must be compliant with the principles and regulations set out in the Academies Financial Handbook and the Funding Agreement.
